Artist's Statement
My artwork encompasses color, expression, and movement. My idea is not to capture a photorealistic image, but to use nature, objects, historical references,, movement of line and color to facilitate my own expression visually using expressive realism as a starting point, using my own unique visual mode of language, which involves movement of media on the surface and color interplay.
